About Us
ONZ was incorporated as a society in August 2012. We are governed by our constitution, by a board of ophthalmologists and exist to add value to ophthalmologists in New Zealand through support on many matters, these are:
- Building relationships and lobbying at a national, local and DHB level with government
- Working with health insurance providers and other third party provider to raise the profile of ophthalmologists and their concerns, and
- Adding value through resources and education on uniquely New Zealand commercial matters.
